The Reece School is excited by the prospects of our new school building that is designed for the 21st Century. Our new home is approximately 22,000 sq.ft. building located at 25 East 104th Street, New York, New York. This location is just off Fifth Avenue and one half block from Central Park with its diverse recreational possibilities. The site is at the north end of The Museum Mile and one block from The Museo del Barrio and the Museum of the City of New York. The site is located between the Upper East Side communities of Carnegie Hill and East Harlem. The ability to bridge diverse ethnic and cultural communities will be a positive attribute as the School moves forward. The new Reece School will enroll 90 children ages 5 to 13.
The building has approximately 12 classrooms, 4 quiet rooms, a student library, art room, school store, lunchroom, teachers resources room, 10 offices and gymnasium, as well as other miscellaneous spaces. The building has outdoor recreation space. An innovative technology program includes soundfield technology, large flat panel screen computers, smartboards, and high speed Internet access.
